IRS Representation & Tax Resolution
Knowledgeable representation before the IRS in all 50 states
Receiving a notice from the IRS or facing an audit can be overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate the process alone.
As an IRS Enrolled Agent, we are federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service in audits, collections, appeals, payment negotiations, and other tax matters. Our approach begins with understanding your situation—not making assumptions.
We believe every recommendation should be supported by documentation and the facts—not guesswork. Whether your goal is to resolve a disputed tax assessment, establish an affordable payment plan, or respond to an IRS examination, we provide practical guidance every step of the way.
Our Process
A clear, fact-based path to resolution
- 1
Initial Consultation
Every case starts with a confidential discussion about your tax issue. We review the notices you have received, discuss your concerns, and identify the questions that need to be answered before any recommendations are made.
- 2
Authorization to Represent You
If representation is appropriate, we obtain IRS Form 2848, Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative. This authorizes us to communicate directly with the IRS on your behalf, request information, and represent your interests throughout the process.
- 3
Obtain and Verify IRS Records
Before developing a strategy, we request your IRS transcripts and other available records to verify exactly what the IRS has on file—including filed tax returns, wage and income information, account transcripts, payment history, and penalties—so decisions are based on verified facts, not assumptions.
- 4
Evaluate Your Options
After reviewing the available information, we determine whether you have a well-supported position to challenge the IRS’s findings or whether another resolution is more appropriate for your circumstances.
- 5
Resolution and Future Planning
Resolving the immediate issue is only part of the process. Once your tax matter has been addressed, we work with you to reduce the likelihood of future problems by improving recordkeeping, implementing proactive tax planning, reviewing estimated tax payments, and developing strategies that support long-term compliance.
Resolution options we may pursue
After reviewing verified records, we determine whether you have a well-supported position to challenge the IRS’s findings or whether another resolution is more appropriate. Depending on your circumstances, available options may include:
- Correcting inaccurate IRS records
- Responding to audits or examinations
- Requesting penalty abatement when supported by the facts
- Filing amended tax returns when appropriate
- Negotiating an installment agreement
- Evaluating eligibility for other IRS collection resolution programs
- Representing you during appeals or other administrative proceedings
Experienced representation you can trust
As an IRS Enrolled Agent, we have unlimited practice rights before the Internal Revenue Service, allowing us to represent individual and business taxpayers in all 50 states. This federal credential demonstrates advanced expertise in individual and corporate taxation, ethics, and taxpayer representation.
